We build enterprise value through executive growth leadership.
We partner with private equity firms and established businesses to align strategy, revenue, and execution. Growth that accelerates, value that compounds, all without the $300K+ executive hire.
Every engagement is led personally by both principals, which caps how many we take. New seats open as engagements conclude.
An executive, not an agency. With an agency behind them.
Senior leadership accountable for revenue outcomes, with the strategy, operating discipline, and execution capacity of a full growth team behind it.
Strategy & Positioning
A clear-eyed read on the market, the buyer, and where the company actually wins, translated into positioning, pricing posture, and a growth strategy the board can underwrite.
Revenue Operating Cadence
Pipeline targets, channel plans, and a weekly operating rhythm that ties marketing activity to revenue. Reporting your deal team can read in five minutes.
Your Team, Led Well
In most engagements we lead what you already have. We assess the internal team, hold existing agencies to account, and recommend changes where the vendor stack isn't earning its keep. Nobody gets replaced for the sake of it.
Capacity When You Need It
Unlike independent fractional CMOs, we have an execution engine behind us. When additional expertise is needed, whether creative, paid media, SEO, analytics, automation, AI, or development, we deploy Musion Digital's specialists under our leadership. One strategy. One accountable team. No pass-off to juniors.
Aligned companies grow faster.
When leadership, sales, operations, and marketing share the same plan and the same scoreboard, growth gets easier to predict and easier to repeat. Our job is to build that plan, keep it moving week after week, and make sure marketing answers to revenue like everything else does.
Most of our clients are PE firms. That’s not an accident.
Portfolio companies rarely justify a full-time CMO, but they can’t afford drift either. We give operating partners senior marketing leadership they can deploy into a portco in weeks. We work through the team the company already has, and bring extra capacity only where it’s needed.
Value-creation plans, not marketing plans
Engagements are scoped against your investment thesis and hold period: what marketing must contribute to the exit multiple, by when, and how it gets measured.
The first 100 days post-close
A structured diagnostic and 100-day marketing plan for new platform acquisitions: what to keep, what to cut, and where the fastest revenue is hiding.
Both principals on every company
Michael and Lee work each portfolio company together, with consistent standards, shared learnings, and portfolio-level pricing across multi-company arrangements. No more agency lottery at every portco.
Reporting built for deal teams
Board-ready dashboards on pipeline, CAC, and marketing-sourced revenue. No vanity metrics, no forty-slide agency decks.
A defined engagement, not an open-ended retainer.
Diagnostic
Two to three weeks inside the business: revenue model, funnel, team, spend, and tech. You get a written assessment either way, no strings attached.
Roadmap
A prioritized plan tied to revenue targets and your hold period: what we do first, what it costs, and what it should return.
Operating Cadence
We embed with leadership on a weekly rhythm, running the plan, the team, and the vendors, and reporting like executives.
Scale or Succeed
When the company outgrows fractional, we build the internal team and help hire our own replacement. A clean handoff is part of the job.
The numbers are the story.
PE-backed B2B services platform, ~$8M revenue. Repositioned the offer, rebuilt paid acquisition, and installed a weekly pipeline cadence with the sales team.
Multi-location consumer services group. Consolidated four agency relationships into one accountable operating plan and reallocated spend to the two channels that actually converted.
New platform acquisition for a lower-middle-market sponsor. Diagnostic, brand consolidation, and a board-approved growth roadmap delivered inside the first hundred days.
Engagement details available in conversation. Client names held in confidence by agreement.
We’re selective. So should you be.
We aren’t the right fit if
- You're looking for an agency to run social media.
- You need a junior marketing manager.
- You're shopping for the lowest-cost consultant.
- Your leadership team isn't prepared to make operational changes.
We are the right fit if
- Revenue has plateaued.
- Marketing has become fragmented.
- Growth through acquisition needs integration.
- The board expects accountability.
- You're preparing for scale or exit.
Two principals. Every engagement.
You don’t get assigned one of us. Michael and Lee lead each engagement together: one strategy, two senior operators, deep in your business. We work through the team and agencies you already have, and when something is missing, Musion Digital’s bench fills the gap. It’s also why we can’t take every engagement that comes to us.

LinkedInWe’d rather do fewer engagements, exceptionally well.
Tell us what you’re building and where you’d deploy us. Waitlist conversations happen in order, and PE firms with multiple portfolio companies receive scheduling priority.
